I haven't done that - yet. I recently went to a screening of all three Lord of the Rings films with friends, some of which were dressed up as elves, rangers and hobbits...I wasn't dressed up but I was wishing I were. Next time, I guess... Those girls look like football supporters to me though >_<

It depends on the movie, but I have definitely dressed up before. We have a local movie theatre that does a lot of special event movies and sing-alongs or quote-alongs and they encourage it. Most recently, I drug out the flannel and too much black eyeliner for the 90's Singalong. ;)
