Do You Have a Getting-Ready Routine?

I primp in a pretty organized and routine manner. First I moisturize my face and body, then I apply my makeup, and then I attend to my hair. I've tried to reverse my hair and makeup order so that my makeup doesn't get ruined when I perspire while blow-drying, but then my hair just gets ruined when I try to keep it off my face. Oh, the tragedy. Do you have a getting-ready routine and if so, what is it?

I wash my face in the shower. When I get it out, it's the rest of my face routine, then body lotion then deodorant. Next I move to the hair, and finally the make-up. I have a routine for the shower also or I forget what I have done! LoL

I get out of the shower, moisturize and all that good stuff. Then I do my makeup, put in leave in conditioner and comb my hair, I usually never blow dry. Then I moisturize my body and get dressed. I don't like the residue of my body moisturizer on my hands when I do my hair.

haha, most mornings it depends on how much time I have.. usually I throw on some hair serum, moisturizer and brush my teeth. It I have an extra ten minutes to spare I'll put on some eye make up.. My least priority is any foundation and blush.

What can I say. I'm a creature of habit. It's served me well to do what I do everyday.

I have a strict routine in the morning. If I didn't stick to it, I would probably forget something and walk out of the house without brushing my teeth.

Yes, I do. I save more time that way. I try to multi-task as much as possible, too. I seriously need SO MUCH TIME in the morning to get ready. I often end up doing my makeup in the car (with my hubby driving) because I just didn't have enough time to make it to work on time. *Sigh*

I definitely do! I shower ( washing hair first, then condition while I wash my body, face, and shave). I get out, do body lotion and throw my PJ's on. I towel dry my hair a little and wait about 15 minutes before I start drying it. I can't dry it when its sopping wet. Then, I do minimal makeup usually(unless I am going out at night), get dressed, spritz my perfume, brush my teeth and go!

I have a routine for almost everything I do. I'm so organized! I take a shower at night so my hair is nice & soft and un-frizzy in the morning. When I get ready the next day, I brush my teeth, rinse my face, serum & moisturize & prime, put my hair in a loose ponytail, make up, take hair down & brush, and go! If I have to take another shower for something at night, I let my hair dry in a hair towel while doing my body, then let it air dry while doing my face, then blow it out afterwards. I don't use hot air, so it doesn't get too hot.

blow dry my hair then scrub it a bit with toner, then moisturize, then put on my cover up, blush and fill in my eyebrows (too much plucking in high school! :P), then I style my hair (usually put in hot rollers) and then I finish my make up while waiting for the curls to set.

Have you tried drying your hair most of the way, doing makeup, and then drying the last bit and styling? It might cut down on the time your face spends melting off.
