Women Are Braiding Their Hair Like Unicorn Horns and It Is Truly Magical

Do You Use Lighted Beauty Products?

Is it just me, or does there seem to be an influx of lightup beauty products these days? There's always the classic mirror vanity with the lighting options for nighttime, daytime, office, and home, and no doubt you've seen seen those illuminated tweezers on the market. In recent times Too Faced has added a Lashlight Mascara ($25) to its arsenal, and for your lips, there's Liparazzi's Light Up Lip Gloss ($25), pictured on the right. Even old-school brand Avon is in on the action, with its Hollywood Lights Lip Gloss ($6). What do you think of lighted beauty? Do you use like the idea, or is everything not illuminated?

Honestly, this is stupid. If I'm in the dark, noone will see my makeup anyway.

I'm not opposed to the idea, but unless there's a culture of women applying makeup in the dark (eek!), it doesn't seem terribly useful.

I'll just stick to the classic mirror lightning option for night time.
