I used to keep pink eye in HS and had to get all new makeup every other month or so. That got annoying and expensive! vmruby 8 years Never....there's nasty bacteria that grows in an expired mascara that can sometimes cause really bad eye infections or blindness.That's the reason why they have expiration dates. So I don't wear makeup nor mascara often. Which is why I got a HUGE eye infection after using mascara that was possibly old. Nasty! I'm PR and a big eye is not cute when you are in the public. No eye damage, but it took two weeks to heal! The best way is to literally clean your brush off everytime with a cleaner per each use (This is how makeup artist keep their products clean.) Sounds like a lot of trouble but well worth it!!! warau 8 years I finally gave in and bought a new mascara after using the same old one for two semesters. haha It was about time!
