Do You Wear Sleep Masks?

I'm sure you're familiar with the famous mask Audrey Hepburn donned in the film classic Breakfast at Tiffany's. Who else could make catching those heavy z's as glamorous as the gamine actress once did? Lately, after receiving a complimentary sleep mask on a flight, I've been sort of an addict of these light-blocking bedtime accessories myself. There's something satisfying about keeping the sleeping experience as dark as possible. How about you? Do you wear sleep masks during moments of slumber?

i used to when my bedroom window was to the east. summer mornings were impossible without it. would wake up at 6am, even though i'd go to bed at 3 am

i wear one every night along with ear plugs. My boy friend gets up really early for work and I can't stand a bit of light when I sleep. so picky!

I wear a sleep mask every night. I have for years. It's like sleeping with a blanket, if I don't wear it, I can't sleep!

I turn into some kind of rabid animal when I sleep. I tried one once and woke up with it around my neck. Every morning my hair is sticking up like Britney's on a bad day, even if I braid it. The blankets are on the floor and one of my socks is missing. For me, it's just not a good idea to put anything elastic on my head.

yes and I love it! It is wonderful when migraines come along too!

Fairly often. When I want to sleep in on weekends, or if I'm having trouble falling asleep I use it. Mine is filled with lavender in addition to the normal padding so it's very soothing.

Yes every night. And if I am away from home and have forgotten it, I find it hard to sleep.

I think wearing an sleep mask at night actually made me more sensitive to light. I never used to need one but ever since I started wearing one at night I can't sleep without it. If there is even the tiniest bit of light in the room I can't sleep, no matter how tired I am.

I wear one pretty much every night that actually looks a lot like Audrey's in the movie, blue with eyelashes on it. I have to wear one because my eyelids are really thin and when they're closed I see exactly the same amount of light as when they're open. It kinda sucks, but you get used to using one. Now I can't fall asleep without one.

Not quite, but I've fallen asleep with an eye pillow on. The eye pillow I have is similar to a sleep mask but without the strap so it really only works if I'm laying on my back. I tried wearing a sleep mask that the airline provided on an overseas flight, but it was made out of cheap material and not at all breathable. I didn't like the feeling of my eyelids sweating, so I took it off after awhile.

Sometimes. I have several and once in a whole I'll pull them out. It makes me feel so luxurious, but they're around my neck by morning.

My sister bought me one for my birthday a few years ago, but I hated the way it felt and I also felt uncomfortable in total blackout. I tried to give it a chance a few times, but I just didn't like it.

they're so pretty! Sadly I can't wear them because I have a really flat nose bridge so they sit too flush against my eyes, and I find this super uncomfortable and distracting

No, but I need one! Miss Golightly had the right idea! P.S. that's one of my FAVE movies.
