Doing Drugstore: Clean & Clear Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser

Doing Drugstore: Clean & Clear Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser

I'm a recent convert to Clean & Clear Makeup Dissolving Cleanser ($6), but I'm glad I found it. It's cheap, it's a pretty good makeup remover, and it washes completely off like a regular foaming cleanser. Best of all, it's easy. It's the kind of product that keeps you from falling asleep in your makeup after two mojitos too many, because while you many not have the energy (or coordination) to take off your earrings and heels, you can splash a little water on your face.

Plus, I can get tired of traditional makeup removers. Sure, sometimes pouring it drop by drop onto cotton balls feels sophisticated and more like a spa ritual than a chore, but at the end of a long day, I don't want to spend 15 minutes trying to get the mascara off my lashes, and I definitely don't want to use up 30 cotton balls doing it. So for me, this is a good solution. If you have a sensitive nose like me, though, I've got one caveat: I don't like the way it smells — at all. It's a kind of chemically sweet scent that makes me glad when it's washed off. Luckily, the smell doesn't hang around once water hits it, and using the cleanser only takes a few seconds. For right now, I'm happy to put up with a little cheap scent for a really clean face.

mooh, sounds good. I have oily skin. Will this help oily skin too? What's your skin like?

I haven't tried the cleanser yet, but the C&C eye makeup remover is great - almost as good as Lancome for like 1/5 the price!

I've been reading so many good things about this...I usually don't like Clean and Clear products, but maybe I'll try this one. The price is definitely right!

I have been using this lately since I have ran out of the fancy stuff and I love it. It leaves my face feeling fresh, clean and clear!

i saw this a week or two at the supermarket and once i saw it here on bella i figured i'd give it a try. i hate using greasy feeling eye makeup remover liquid and i dont really like the idea of wiping the cloths over the delicate eye area. call me paranoid. anyway i did end up buying this and used it for the first time last night. i like how its foamy, unlike other makeup removers, and it did do a good job after a little rubbing in. i didnt try it yet on waterproof mascara though. i did cleanse my face afterwards with my regular wash though because i dont like using unmedicated washes that arent intended for just cleaning the skin. no problems so far!

I actually have been using this for about two months now and it does a very good job for the price. And it does not have salicylic acid in it since it's makeup remover, not an acne cleanser.

I love this! I normally use St. Ives Apricot Scrub and Almay eye makeup remover pads, but this is a fab two-in-one deal that helps me on those late bar nights. Plus, I've noticed that my skin has cleared up considerably since using this every night.

This is like exactly the same as Amie BRIGHT EYES Very Gentle Eye Make up Remover except that Amie is 95% natural ingredients, is £4.95 a bottle and looks nicer... I would definitely go with Amie any day, often Clean and Clear has salicylic acid in it which is so bad for your skin...

Clean and Clear always hurts my skin and dries it out pretty badly causing me to break out, so I'm not sure if I would be willing to try this. I like to use Almay eye make-up removing pads. Usually takes one for each eye and works great.
