Doing Drugstore: Dr. Scholl's For Her Ultra Overnight Foot Cream

Doing Drugstore: Dr. Scholl's For Her Ultra Overnight Foot Cream

Dr. Scholl's at ShopStyle

For some products promising extra moisture, that translates to a generous coating of greasy gunk. You'll have to excuse my skepticism in testing this, but I was imagining sticky feet picking up invisible "grit" from my hardwood floors. Do. Not. Want.

Thankfully, while this lotion does soothe my rough skin, it goes on smoothly and doesn't feel tacky to the touch once dry. With active ingredients of aloe and palm oils, it felt pretty ordinary all alone, but as part of a new nightly regimen, it gets great results. Simply start with a pumice foot scrub before tucking toes into cotton/lycra socks to seal emollients into the feet while you sleep. It'll keep them warm, too. Would you consider trying this, or does the idea of wearing socks to bed make you sweat?

I'd try it but not at the moment. We've had a bit of heat wave here, in Australia, at the moment and wearing socks to bed just sounds painful. I'll pick some up once the weather cools down.

I've used this before and it worked really well for me. It's really great for those dry elbows during the colder months.

I'd try it! I love foot lotion and I always wear socks because my place is frreezing. I like that it wasn't too thick.

I like using this cream, but I put it on in the evenings before I go to bed. I cannot stand to wear socks to bed.

I tend to kick off my socks in my sleep so this probably isn't the best option. It's not that my feet sweat or anything, I just kick them off for some bizarre reason.

I can't stand wearing socks in bed, so I think I'll pass on the overnight foot cream. The Dr. Scholl's pumice scrub does wonders, though! I've used that and it made my feet soo much smoother. I need to get a new bottle. :P
