"Elie Tahari's collections are always classic, so we wanted to create something timeless," said lead makeup artist Marc Reagan for Bobbi Brown of the designer's Spring 2014 collection. "We wanted her to not look like she took a lot of time doing her makeup." He applied the brand's Gel Eyeliner in Espresso and Black ($23 each) to line the upper lash line, keeping the rest of the makeup soft. Peach tones were used on the eyes along with a pink flush on the cheeks and lips. Manicurist Patricia Yankee complemented the clean makeup look with her polish in Halo, a sheer pinkish-white.
Dov of Dov Salon stuck with the fresh and urban vibe by creating a sleek hair look that had an unexpected wave on the midlengths of the hair. "I want it to be natural and effortless, but still with a little effort," he said.
