Ellis Faas Is Recycling Makeup Packaging Into Art

Makeup Packaging Becomes Charitable Art

Cosmetic brand Ellis Faas is known for putting its products in easy-to-carry pens, and now there's a smart and kind way to recycle them. The brand is asking that customers return empty pens, which will be given to a group of artists for creating sculptures and mixed media pieces.

The pieces will then be auctioned off, and the proceeds will go to War Child International, a nonprofit that supports psychological and social stability programs for children exposed to the vagaries of life in a war zone. It's a creative way to reuse makeup packaging, and hopefully it will provide a significant sum to a good cause, too.
