You'll Crack Up Watching This Slap-Happy Robot Shampooing Hair

Though robots are the way of the future, they might not have a place in the salon. Simone Giertz, a YouTube inventor, attempted to create a hair-washing device, and while the results are hilarious, the end product is a bit of a flop — literally.

Her tool is an automatic shampoo dispenser paired with a mechanized prosthetic hand, which delivers more of a smackdown than a stimulating scalp massage. In fact, you can see Giertz grimacing throughout the video! Not only does the robot fail to provide a thorough cleanse, but the wobbly, flopping motion also visibly tangles her locks.

However, Giertz definitely has a sense of humor about her creation (she declared that she was "dying" by the end of her shower). Panasonic's strand-sudsing tool may be more efficient, but this one is seriously entertaining. Watch the video and prepare to crack up!
