When styling Dianna Agron's hair, Adir Abergel wanted to create a fresh, feminine take on a '50s rockabilly style:
- He started by applying Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse to her roots (on dry hair), along with Fekkai Advanced Silky Straight Ironless Smooth Finish Serum at the ends.
- After using his hands to blow-dry Dianna's hair, he used a one-and-a-quarter-inch curling iron to curl the hair, pinning the curls into place from the hairline to the crown.
- He then pulled Dianna's hair back into a sleek chignon at the crown of her head, took the pin curls out, and backcombed the roots for a pompadour effect.
- Abergel spritzed on some hair spray to keep the backcombing in place, and he also brushed the top of the style to smooth it out. To finish, he used Fekkai Coiff Nonchalant Piecing and Forming Wax on to ends of the hair to create separation, and sprayed Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold Hair Spray to lock in style.
