For the Nylon event, celebrity hairstylist David Babaii was inspired to give Olivia a look reminiscent of Jane Fonda in Barbarella. Babaii started by applying Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment ($32) to Olivia's wet hair to give it some luster, then rough-dried for extra volume. Tip: because the oil closes the cuticle, you won't need to style the hair with a round brush while drying. Babaii then used a two-and-a-half-inch curling iron to create loose waves, rotating the iron both clockwise and counter clockwise. To finish, he used a large comb to feather out Olivia's hair, dried her bangs straight, and applied a bit of the oil for added shine.
At last night's premiere of The Change-Up, Babaii wanted to keep things "simple and sassy" with a sleek, straight style. He applied the Pequi Oil Treatment to her wet hair, then parted and blow-dried in sections. Tip: because the oil blocks humidity, it helps provide a stick-straight style without using a flat iron. Once dry, Babaii trimmed Olivia’s bangs in a zigzag formation, creating softness while giving texture to the tips. He finished off the bangs by using a small round brush, blow-drying them with a slight curve into the eyebrows.
