The Horrifying Connection Between White Wine and Skin Cancer

Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio is Really Impressive

For the last fifteen years, I've had a really strong affinity toward this old school sea-foam green fragrance called Acqua Di Gio. It was Armani's first big fragrance success and it has always reminded me of the cusp of summertime and autumn.

Maybe it's because of the aquatic and tropical floral notes—or it could be that my first post-college job was at Armani Corporate and was trying really hard to impress them!

I still keep a bottle of this oldie but goodie on hand for daytime wear. It is perfect for when you're in the mood for something crisp, light and fresh. It is made from sweet pea, jasmine, freesia, hyacinth, muscat grape, musk and woods and it's available in three Eau de Toilette sizes: 3.4 oz ($65), 1.7 oz ($49.50) and 1.15 oz ($39.50). What are some of your old-time fave fragrances? Leave a comment and let me know!

SephoraExpert, I'm with you- I love Burberry Brit and occasionally use Armani Elle. I can't wear Acqua di Gio cause it gives me an instant headache- at least the men's version does. My highschool perfume was Clinique Happy, but that gives me a headache now too! I'm very sensitive to scents

My first perfume was Elizabeth Arden, Sunflowers. I always keep a bottle on hand even though I don't use it very often. But the smell brings me back. :)

Coco by Chanel is one that I've used for a few years. In HS I was crazy about Safari by Ralph Lauren. Now I also love Ralph Lauren- Blue  I wore it at my wedding. Perfect for a crisp, fresh morning :)

I have a bottle of this on my counter too. Along with Gian Franco Ferre and CoCo by Chanel. I rarely find any new scents that I really like enough to buy. I tend to stick to traditional scents that are not so over powering.

I heart Aqua Di Gio.Whenever I'm asked 'What is my fav. perfume?' that is always my stock answer, Aqua Di Gio.Sure, I use other perfumes like Lancome Miracle, Boss/Hugo Boss Woman, Burberry Touch, Isabella Rossellini's Manifesto (cheap but really hard to find), United Colors of Benetton Clean (cheap but not as hard to find), Angel (it's REALLY strong so I only use 1 spritz... and so far only for my wedding & when I go out clubbing), Shi by Alfred Sung, Cashmere Mist by Donna Karen, Victoria's Secret Amber Romance (for my adult extra cirricular activities... my hubby loooves this scent)... bueno.. enough on that subject... but AQUA DI GIO is awesome and I totally love it and use it several times a week.

I actually liked a drugstore perfume during college - Le Jardin by Max Factor. It's a great fresh smell (for the price) but I don't use it as my tastes have changed now (to more $$ ;o(!)I also like L'eau de Issey and Jewel (Alfred Sung) - use these currently, as the mood strikes..

I used to love Cristalle by Chanel. I haven't used it in years, but recently I sniffed a tester in a store and was transported back to the 80s when I used to wear it to go out clubbing. I know that dates me! It's still a very pretty scent.

I'm not a big fan of perfumes in general, but ever since I tried Bluberry Nights I'm in love and trying different things by different brands. I also really like Hypnose by Lancome, although it is too expensive to buy (here, at least)
