Have You Been Caught Primping When You Shouldn't Be?

Have You Been Caught Primping When You Shouldn't Be?

Most of you voted that applying loads of makeup in public is tacky. But have you ever been caught primping at an inappropriate time? Check out MSNBC anchor Contessa Brewer, and pay attention when the camera switches to her.

Heh! Contessa played this off as best as possible, but, oof, talk about awkward. I can't stop giggling at the transition from surprise to the "I am a serious journalist" face. Has something like this ever happened to you? If so, how did you handle it?

Oh robinesque, do you really think the cameramen care about Contessa? I can't stand her, and if I were the cameraman I would try to expose news anchors for what they really are. Heartless narcissists who don't give a da@mn about anything else but their gorgeous mug! (I'm only half-kidding...)

THE CAMERAMAN OR DIRECTOR SHOULD HAVE GIVEN HER A "HEADS UP." HOW UNPROFESSIONAL WAS THAT ON THEIR PART!!! WHY SHOOT THE MESSENGER?

Everyday I get caught at work. I didn't know it was so taboo.

That clip was hilarious. I sit in the front of my office and i've been caught putting on make up. i mean really putting it on- like i didn't have time to apply it at home. i got caught and it was embarrassing especially since i was half done.

Yikes! I'd be embarrassed if I were her! I've been caught reapplying gloss at work. It's not a big deal to my boss plus I have to keep my gloss on. I do have my own office though so it's not like I'm around other people.

Lol, poor woman! Her noddings in sympathy to the serious news are terribly funny. I always go to a bathroom to check make-up though I used to apply lip gloss in the middle of the street. I guesst that if I don't knwo anyone they don't count.

Yep, that is embarassing. I am always whipping out my mirror in the staff room to make sure I don't look oily, as well as other women in the office. Our boss talked about it in a staff meeting already but, whatever. I don't want to go to a classroom looking oily!

I had a teacher yell at me for obsessively looking into a mirror during class. My response? The truth: "There's a big cut on my tongue and now it's bleeding. Can I go rinse my mouth?" :P

We had a substitute teacher at my arts conservatory one day, and a girl was putting lipstick on in the back row while the teacher called her name while taking attendance. When she saw her putting her makeup on, she ripped into her saying that putting makeup on during her class is disrespectful and a show of not paying any attention. It was scary, and it made me think twice about putting on makeup in class, even though we had her only once!

Haha. That's what I loved about working at Sephora. I was allowed to primp whenever I wanted!

What I found truly funny is how serious she tries to appear after the obvious faux pas as if she was truly concerned about what was being said.
