Hello Kitty Perfume From Demeter

Demeter Teams Up With Hello Kitty

If you were the kind of child whose heart skipped a beat every time she walked past the Sanrio store, you might think this news is the cat's meow. Demeter, the fragrance company known for its spray-on copies of everything from dirt to mai tais, has created scents just for Sanrio.

Hello Kitty ($20) is light and apple-scented, just like the famous cat's favorite food. Demeter also produced a citrusy Little Twin Stars fragrance ($20), for those of you who were fans. They're both available only online, so I have yet to smell them. Somewhere, though, my inner 8-year-old is absolutely plotzing.

I would love to get this! BUT $20 is a bit to much. 10 I'd pay

I love Kitty! I think I have to get it even if I don't like the smell.

I was thinking the same! Apparently, they offer free returns for this, but it's such a waste of time on both ends it's not even worth it.

Hahahaha, Postmod, I totally loved that gum, and the hard character-shaped lollipops, too. I think peach was the Keropi one, because I also had a Pochaco the Beagle obsession, and he was always grape-y. I still love the way all Sanrio stores smell when you walk past them, btw. I know it's probably generated by some scent machine with olfactory crack in it, but there's just something about that blend of candy and plastic that's universally pleasing.KadBunny, I was all set to run out to UO yesterday, and then got kind of miffed when I found out they were online only. I don't think it's very fair with perfume, honestly.

I'm still that child! Ahh :D I wish these would make an appearance somewhere. I'd love to spritz and squee.

Remember the Hello Kitty gum!? I used to love that stuff. I can't remember if it was the puppy one or the frog one that was kind of peach flavored? Anyway, I think I'll always remember that taste.
