Remember last Spring when you were cruising on a yacht, living the lap of luxury? Well, maybe that wasn't you, but it was the Hervé Léger woman. The Spring 2014 collection was created with a powerful woman in mind, and it was reflected in the hair and makeup.
Val Garland, lead makeup artist for Sephora Pro, harnessed the ideal bronze of Summer using the Marc Jacobs Omega Bronze Perfect Tan ($49). And while each model showcased an illuminated glow, the focus was on the foggy smoky eye. To re-create the look at home, Garland recommends using a black pencil topped with shadow to set.
The two-textured hair was also a vacation-ready style, with a wet look near the hairline and cascading waves in back. Lead hairstylist Laurent Philippon mixed a Bumble and Bumble mousse and gel for just the right amount of hold and shine. Finally, the nails were finished off with a few coats of OPI Barre My Soul ($8). This is one beauty look you can easily pull off between the pool and the disco.
