- A wet sponge: To start, Sollitto used Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Foundation ($38) with a wet sponge. "This dilutes it, and puts a light blanket so the skin looks healthy," he says.
- A deeper shade of blush: "I often like two different colors on the cheeks," explains Sollitto. For the deeper shade, he chose Jouer's Blush in Rose ($24) to accent the shadow of her cheekbones.
- A softer shade of blush: Sollitto next used a soft pale pink from the apples to the nose so that the blush colors blended cohesively. Says Sollitto, "Amy looked like the brilliant and beautiful movie star she is."
