Whether she's decked out in a sophisticated bob (which the majority of you were loving), wearing an intensely inky eye, or sporting dark brown strands with bangs, Keira Knightley has emerged as one of the most stylish celebrities around. And her makeup look at the opening of the International Rome Film Festival definitely did not disappoint. To complement a beautiful caramel-toned dress, Keira's makeup artist chose an amped-up palette of neutral shades with a black penciled-in eye to top it all off. Find out how to get the look when you read more.
- Wet the tip of Chanel's Intense Eye Pencil in Noir ($27) and apply to the upper lash line and socket.
- Next, take a creamy, shimmery black pencil and blend over the top of the previous lines with a brush. Do not take these dark colors past the natural socket line.
- Using the remainder of the pencil left on the brush, smudge the dark color on the lower lash line.
- Finish off the eyes by using a cream concealer on the brow bone as a highlighting effect. Add a generous coat of Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir ($30), then sweep clear gel through the eyebrows to keep them in place.
Keira was also wearing Laura Mercier blush in Praline ($22) and Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss in Impertinence ($32).
