For the April cover of W , Jennifer Aniston took a step away from her girl-next-door image. The sultry shoot was a little bit Kim Basinger in 9 1/2 Weeks, borrowing from Stella McCartney's spring collection .
Jennifer's famous locks were coiffed by her longtime stylist Chris McMillan, who told W that the secret behind the actress's tousled tresses was dirt — literally. "It's not her typical blown-out hairstyle," he said . "It's a little rougher. We liked seeing the flyaways."
After the first day of the shoot, McMillan allowed Jennifer's hair to dry naturally curly, refining it from there. For day two, photographer Steven Klein asked that Jennifer come prepared with unwashed hair. "We left her hair dirty. It just created a nice chunky texture," McMillan said. What do you think of the result?
