Kat Von D's Glitter-Brow and Cat-Eye Combo Is a Fresh Look to Try This Fall

An outstanding red lipstick is an essential component of any beauty junkie's regimen. Makeup maven and tattoo artist Kat Von D is frequently spotted with a crimson pout, but in a recent post to Instagram, she showed off a unique way to incorporate red lip color into her routine.

Above, she used her Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Santa Sangre ($20) to fill in the razor-sharp tails of her brow and cat eye (which were both otherwise black). Then, she carefully patted red glitter on top to create a Fall-forward ombré effect. It would be stunning in any color, too — try it in orange for a more office-friendly Halloween style!

To re-create this look at home, try placing tape along the borders of your eyebrows and cat eye for a template. Then, after applying your liquid lipstick, quickly layer on a vermillion glitter like OCC Cosmetics Glitter in Red ($15) before the lip color dries.
