Kerastase Noctrogenist

Hair Care While You Sleep From Kerastase

Now this is what I call getting your beauty sleep. Kerastase has just introduced a new convenient and time-efficient concept in hair care. Noctogenist Voile Nuit ($60) and Noctogenist Serum Nuit ($60) are two leave-in treatments (one for fine hair and one for coarse hair) that work to revitalize dull, lackluster, and environmentally damaged locks while you rest your weary head. The treatments contain antibreaking and smoothing properties that work to regenerate elasticity and softness.

They seem simple enough to use as well. Apply the treatment to towel-dried or dry hair two to three times a week before bed and comb through for even distribution. In the morning, you don't even have to wash it out! Both products are expected to land in stores later this month.

Since I pretty much have Kerastase Masquintense to thank for restoring life back into my hair after dying and frying it blonde a few years ago, I can't wait to test out the Noctogenist Viole Nuit Spray (for fine hair) to see if it lives up to all of the hype. What are your thoughts?

I have this and love it. I've used all kinds of crazy-expensive overnight treatments, and this may be the best. Makes my fine hair easy to comb through without breakage, smooth and soft. The only problem with it is it's just so hard to find.

Retro Bunny, try L'Occitane Angelica shampoo and conditioner which cost a fraction of Kerastese; but seriously try to save for the Kerastese. In general, look for products with essential oils, keratin, lecithin and panthenol. Kiehl's products for hair are great. Not the cheapest either but you do get what you pay for with haircare products. I have long thick hair like yours. p.s. Use VO5 hot oil treatments before every shampoo.

Definitely trying this out. Sounds so logical and yet, it's funny that no one has thought of it before...

Oh, I'd love to try this magical potion! It seems so promising. But alas, the pocket book of a 17 year old student doesn't really have room for necessary luxuries like these. Sigh. Does anyone know of good products to flatten or repair long, super thick hair? The worst part is that my hair-dresser cut me waaaay too many layers, so it looks like a very poofy blonde bob, with more hair down to my shoulder blades. Criiiiinge!

Hey, Bella, I think it's "Voile Nuit" (voile means "veil" in French)...That's what I got from the website.

I adore Kerastase products, I haven't tried any of the overnight stuff, but the shampoos and conditioners for coloured hair are incredible. And worth the price if you ask me, especially the hair masks / conditioners.
