Now that Kim Kardashian has finally tied the knot, everyone is dying to know her wedding-day beauty secrets. Finally, Allure has some inside details you need to know, straight from hair stylist Chris McMillan.
I don't know Kim Kardashian well — we've only worked together a few times before her wedding . So doing her hair for the big day was exciting, and I had no idea what to expect. But Kim is an incredibly kind, gracious person, and even in the middle of all the commotion, she went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable and everyone was happy.
I did her hair for the parties and events before her wedding, but for Saturday night, Kim and I decided to keep her hair really simple and elegant. I gave her a center part and tucked it behind her ears — it was '70s inspired but more modern. I pulled two pieces of hair back from her temples and gathered them together with two bobby pins and put a very light sprig of baby's breath at the point where the two sections met. I wanted to use the same flowers that she had in her bouquet to tie her look together. And (no surprise here) she looked completely gorgeous.
