Meet the Gorgeous Blogger Who Is the New Face of L'Oréal Paris

Last December I had the epic experience of traveling from NYC to London aboard the official Angel plane for the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The call time for the plane departure was 6 a.m. on a Sunday! Since I am not a morning person, I made sure to get a Drybar blowout the day before and preset my coffee so I could sleep in as late as possible and be out the door in 30 minutes (I woke up at 5 a.m. and left by 5:30 a.m.).

Once I made it onto the luxe aircraft, I sat down next to fashion blogger Kristina Bazan.

"You look amazing for 6 a.m.!" I told her.

She admitted to me that she got up at 3 a.m. to perfect her skin, curl her hair, and paint on her signature cat eye. Impressive.

While Kristina posted polished selfies that looked like this, I relied on the aforementioned blowout and a pink lip gloss to distract from my lack of shut-eye and grooming. There's no doubt the 21-year-old Swedish sartorial star is just as much a beauty girl as she is a fashion one. (After a six-hour flight, I can honestly say she is also a sweetheart!)

So I was not entirely shocked when I heard that L'Oréal Paris named her a new ambassador for its brand. What is surprising is that her blog, Kayture, is only four years old. She launched it in 2011 (whereas most major bloggers started around 2007), and she already has more than 2 million monthly views on her website and 2 million followers on Instagram. Follow her and you'll find an endless supply of chic inspiration — healthy brunches, posh hotel rooms, couture outfits, and mesmerizing beauty style (red lips, winged eyeliner, dewy skin, and model-off-duty boho waves). She is constantly jet-setting and still takes impeccable care of her skin.

"My wish is to use this new voice, this new amazing role as a spokesperson to spread a positive message about beauty and make all women around the world feel and know that they are all worth it," Bazan said in WWD.

But First She Teased It

She told her followers on Instagram that she would soon be revealing a "secret project." But by using "#WorthIt," we had an inkling of which brand she was working with.

Rocking a daring ruby lip, she wrote: "There's always a good enough occasion for a touch of red. Stay updated for a surprise next week... #WorthIt #makeupjunkie."

One More Hint

Again she touted a "secret project" that she was doing during Paris Fashion Week, which makes sense since L’Oréal's headquartered in the City of Light.
