Kylie's Newest Beauty Look Is Kind of Creeping Us Out

Kylie Jenner is all about starting conversations. When she tries a new hair color, we immediately chat up our colorist about re-creating the hue. She inspires us to bare our complexions whenever she shares a makeup-free selfie. And, of course, she made us ask "WTF?" when she launched her latest lip gloss commercial/music video.

Now we can't stop talking about her upcoming issue of Paper magazine, for which she has transformed into a Kewpie doll-esque caricature of herself. Shot by Erik Madigan Heck, Kylie is made to look completely surreal in this photo. Her famous lips are exaggerated to look even larger, and she's wearing a matching pink rubber wig. Though her makeup is on point (as usual), we have to confess that this cover is creeping us out. If it weren't for her eyes, she would look as if she were completely made of plastic — truly eerie.

The interview shocked us almost as much as that image did. Kylie declared that she "didn't see one other girl wearing nude lipstick" before the Kylie lips trend kicked off. And, when it comes to having kids, she doesn't "believe in after 30."

This isn't the first time that one of Kylie's magazine covers has been controversial. She famously donned a golden bustier and sat in a gilded wheelchair for Interview in 2015 and told the editor that she "hates wearing makeup."
