The Lammily doll caught our attention a few months ago for being a realistic alternative to Barbie. Instead of being busty with superlong legs and a tiny waist, Lammily has "normal" proportions and a sticker pack that includes stretch marks, cellulite, and acne. Now Nickolay Lamm, the toy's creator, has created a funny (but empowering) video starring Lammily, entitled "#DoYou."

Lammily is a DJ preparing to jet off to Miami for a performance — she's excited until she realizes that Miami is a hotbed of extreme dieting and plastic surgery. However, instead of changing her look, she embraces who she is (cellulite and all!) and parties on the beach with her new friends. The video sends a powerful message: we are all different, and our differences are what make us beautiful.

In explaining his video to BuzzFeed, Lamm said, "There's so much information out there; it's easy to get caught up and try to be someone you're not. The message of the video is to do you, to be yourself." He also added, "I feel that in the doll world, the standards are funny. So, if we can laugh at the standards in the doll world, maybe it will be easier to laugh at them in the real world." We guarantee you'll laugh at society's standards — and dolls twerking — when you watch the video.
