Love It or Hate It? Chunky Minxed Manis at Fashion Week

We spotted these ever-so-edgy chunky — and what I assume to be Minxed — nails at the Cushnie et Ochs show. While I'm impressed by the manicurist's skills, I don't know how viable a manicure with this 3-D technique would be — especially given how likely they are to snag. Are you enthralled by this look, and would you risk wearing it just to do something so fashion-forward? Or would you give this style a pass?

I think I actually would do this. Bizarre, but definitely different...plus, looks like they snagged this idea from the street girls in Japan.

I would shred so many tights with those nails.

I'm not a fan of 3D nail art. It's too impractical. I can appreciate the skill it takes to create such nail art, but it's a bit over the top for me.

for the runway maybe its okay but for real people, no thanks but what I really love is her eyeshadow. Very pretty for spring!!

I know anything goes on the runway but I don't like it and I'd never do it. I could so see me snagging that on something and losing a nail. No thanks.

Personally, no. I think they look too fussy, and calls too much attention to themselves. Also, I find them unflattering. JMHO.

On the runway...anything works.. I love the dramatic nails.. but practical? obviously not. unless maybe its a costume party? or just for fun..

I like the idea of an irregular, geometric look, but even for a person who likes taking risks with nail looks, this is just plain dumb! (even if the chunks are really soft and won't snag)

EWW. Those looks like throwup. Not to mention, highly impractical.

LOVE but would only do it as an accessory for a certain outfit or event
