The irony of the no-makeup makeup look, one of the bigger trends for Fall, is that it actually requires some makeup to pull it off. So where do you start? Like the models proved at Vera Wang (pictured above), it's best to let your skin tone lead. For fairer-complected ladies, beiges and peaches will be your go-to hues for looking fresh-faced. Learn the tricks and shop the look when you keep reading.
- Start with just a dab of concealer where you need it, specifically on any undereye circles or blemishes you might have. Blend and sweep on a translucent powder to set.
- Take a peach-toned blush and lightly brush it on the apples of your cheeks. A sweep down the bridge of your nose will add a touch of natural color.
- For the eyes, apply a light taupe or beige shadow on your lids and then blend a whitish tone on your brow bone. Curl your lashes and swipe on one coat of mascara. For added lash volume, line your upper water line.
- Finish with one coat of a pink, peach, or coral matte lipstick; shine and gloss should be at a minimum in order to keep the look natural.
