Michelle Wiliams' platinum blond hair and pretty pink lips at the Oscars looked fresh and elegant, which was the perfect compliment to her coral Louis Vuitton gown. I'm here with celebrity makeup artist, Angela Lavine, who created Michelle's look for the night and she's going to show us how to recreate a similar look at home. Michelle looked fresh feminine on the Oscar red carpet. How did you two decide on the look? Well, it really wasn't just the two of us. There is a whole group of us that collaborate on something like that and of course the costume designer help out and the dress makes a big difference. When I saw the gorgeous pink, coral red I just thought of the most beautiful flower in a garden. And she did look absolutely stunning. Thank you. So let's go ahead and get started on this look. Always start with hydration you never really want to put any foundation on dry skin. Michelle's skin look dewy but not shiny. So what are the keys to achieving that type of look? You have to pick the right foundation. I like to apply it with a foundation brush. The one thing to remember is always feathery down to your neck. So I started out with compact eyeshadow by Chanel called Mystic Eye. and I use the lightest color between the fore. I applied it right under her brow. Next, I'm going to mix the silvery color with the golden brown color and I'm going to apply it in a half moon shape creating a softness to the eye. Taking a darker brown, or a purply brown. Using an angled brush, draw a soft line right on her lash line. As I'm doing your lower liner, instead of closing it all the way, I'm going to feather it out. live in the corners actually of them that will give an illusion of a bigger eye. Now we are at the mascara part I like to use a flat brush sometimes, but you could totally apply from the applicator directly. Now I do like to apply.twice because they feel that when do you always get that fake eyelashy look. Now should you curl your lashes? Not everybody absolutely has to. Did you curl Michelle's lashes? I did. Ok, well now we're moving onto to the chic color; I love a chic color. Using a circular motion, again with a half move, and I just very gently swoop it in, all the way into the apples of your cheeks. I use a powder that has a little bit of a sparkle to it and I use a tinier brush and I go right on the cheek bone, right here. To highlight? And I'm giving you a little bit of very glamorous highlight. Is that why Michelle's cheeks looked so bright and luminescent on the red carpet? It is possible that this has something to do with it. You know, when I was doing Michelle's lips at the Oscars, I went ahead and mixed two colors One is like a plum and the other one is a pink. Like a petal pink. Just put it on and then Rub your lips together. So is there any one product that you both have loved this whole reward season? We do love a great foundation even though we use a very little bit it's really something that makes our job a lot easier. Alright, Kirby, you're ready for the red carpet [xx]. Thanks so much Angela. I've enjoyed listening to all your tips. Michelle's makeup look was fresh and pretty and hopefully now you'll be able to recreate this look at home. I'm Kirby and this thanks for watching Celebrity Secret Weapon on Bella Sugar TV.
