Vibrant shots of red were seen throughout the Monique Lhuillier Spring 2014 collection, and the theme also followed through to the beauty look. Val Garland for MAC Cosmetics created the chic makeup style that featured clean skin with a hint of highlight on the cheeks. The focal point was the cherry-stained lip. Hairstylist Bob Recine for Moroccanoil made sure the face was on full display with his sleek, half-wet/half-dry hairstyle. "This gives the hair a fresh, clean feeling, much like the clothes," he said.
The nails, by Katie Hughes of Butter London, also had a pop of red. "I was inspired by the sheer elegance of the collection," she said. She opted for Pink Ribbon ($15), a sheer pink, on the nails and Pillar Box Red ($15), a bright red, on the toes to pop against the shoes coming down the runway.
