Mood-Changing Makeup

Get in the Groove With Mood-Changing Makeup

It's time to get groovy, baby. Just as mood rings of the '70s supposedly changed color to match the state of one's emotions, mood-changing makeup works quite the same way. Although, in actuality, it's your body heat and chemistry that are producing the color alterations. (Bummer. I kind of loved the kitschy idea that these products actually center around your inner disposition.) From nail polishes to crazy-hued lipsticks to glosses, here are a few colorful finds to put you in a good mood.

I would just do it like a French braid, but instead of taking pieces over while braiding, take them under. (A reverse French braid). And instead of incorporating pieces from both sides while braiding, just take from the hairline to form a "headband." Hope that helps!
