New Product Alert: Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Gold Ultra Restorative Capsules Intensive Treatment for Face and Throat (Whew!)

What a mouthful of a name, eh? Elizabeth Arden is rolling out Ceramide Gold Ultra Restorative Capsules Intensive Treatment for Face and Throat, a new update to its Ceramide Time Complex Capsules. The new formula has anti-aging ingredients galore: ceramides 1 and 6, linolenic acid, linoleic acid and phytosphingosines, said to help strengthen the skin's protective barrier.

It might seem a little gimmicky to package your formula in capsules, but I actually like it when companies do this. It makes me feel like Judy Jetson, carefully squeezing each bit of product out future-style. Each $68 jar contains 60 capsules of serum. That price is a little steep, so I might stop by the nearest Red Door to ask for a sample before I take the plunge. What about you? The classic ceramide capsules are amazing! Don't use an entire capsule at once, though, it's waaay too much. I usually poke one with a pin and slowly squeeze the oil out, otherwise it dries up. They're g-reat for sensitive, acne-prone skin. I know, it seems like rubbing oil on a zitty face would make things worse, but the oil absorbs quickly and won't leave you with a greasy finish. And it's so soothing that it calms down your skin, so your acne goes away!
