Nude Cleansing Oil and Hydrating Water Review

Getting Nude Never Smelled So Good

undefined

I firmly believe that if a product has a nice scent, you'll be more inclined to use it habitually. This is why I will probably run out of my Nude skin care by, like, next week. I've been using the brand's cleansing oil ($36) for a year now, and I like how gently it removes even the most stubborn eye makeup.

So I gave Nude's hydrating water ($20) a try, and with the cleansing oil, it's cleansing magic. My skin feels soft and clean without the slightest hint of irritation or dryness, and the floral scent is so fresh and delicately pretty. (Seriously, even my gentleman friend keeps talking about how good it smells, and I'm afraid that anyone who sees him sniffing my face will think we're into some kinky stuff.) Next up: Nude's new nighttime serum ($92), which I'll use for the next month and report on its results. Watch this space.

i LOVE this stuff! i have super-sensitive skin, and it doesn't bother it at all...plus it doesn't have that filmy residue that some cleaners have. love love love!

Brilliant, thanks Annie! :) I like the idea of having less bottles on my shelves, so I'll go for the oil then. Nude, here I come!

Sounds like the eye cream is the next thing I need to try! So, Advah: Honestly, I think both the Dermalogica gel and the Nude cleansing oil are gentle enough to use on dry skin. If you are looking to remove eye makeup, I'd go with the cleansing oil, as long as you know how to use it. Apply it to dry skin, then add water to form a milky emulsion, then rinse. I *really* like to spritz the water on my face afterward, then gently run a cotton pad over my face. It will not dry your skin. Dermalogica's gel is also very easy to use, and if you prefer a more traditional gel cleanser, I'd go with that. The drawback, at least with what you're looking for, is that it wouldn't be good for removing eye makeup. Both are good, but I'd probably go with the cleansing oil since you wouldn't need a separate eye makeup remover. I agree re: subtle scents. Strong bursts of cologne or perfume are just toooooo much.

Never tried it, but it's now on the list! I love subtle scents in washes, and it never ceases to amaze me how man friends tend to notice the smell of my shampoo or face wash much more than my Gucci or Chanel.

Advah, I really like this eye cream so far! And I am a pretty tough customer when it comes to skin care - especially expensive skin care!

Oh man I seriously LOVE that brand. I was picked to try out that serum before it was released, and the stuff is liquid gold! I'm hooked, which sucks considering how expensive the brand is. :/ MartiniLush - is the eye cream that good?? I'm looking for a new eye cream and can't make up my mind between that one and Darphin's eye/lip contour gel (I've really dry skin and I'm not sure which one would work best for me :( ) Annie - I'm also hesitating between the cleansing oil and Dermalogica's cleansing gel, which one would you recommend? I usually only wear eye makeup and not foundation, and I'm looking for something that wouldn't be too harsh. Oh the joy of cosmetics :P

I've been using their eye complex cream for a week now and am seriously loving it! I bought the sample pack from Sephora and am slowly trying it all out! :)
