In one of the more awful and ridiculous stories I've seen lately, a Georgia couple tattooed six of their children with a homemade tattoo gun that they created out of "a variable power supply, an electric motor, wiring, an ink pen and a sharpened piece of guitar string used as a needle."
Patty Marsh, seen at right, says that she and her partner would never do anything to harm their children. (I guess that means that getting stabbed with a dirty guitar string and possibly being electrocuted can't hurt a kid.) What's worse, the youngest child is 7. The parents are being charged with child cruelty, reckless conduct, and (sort of humorously) illegal tattooing. Do you think the charges fit the crime, or would you like to see these people in a parenting class instead?
