Photo of Christina Applegate at 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards

2009 Primetime Emmy Awards: Christina Applegate

At last year's awards, Christina Applegate went for bold, red lips and va-voom hair, but this year, it's all about the soft touches. Instead of a tight, pulled-back bun, Christina's hair is styled in a loose, low-slung chignon, and her makeup, while heavy-handed for the camera's flashes, is peaches-and-cream all the way. She's up for an Emmy tonight for her work on the now defunct Samantha Who?, but when it comes to her beauty choices this evening, are you thinking, "Who's that girl?" or is it not her best look?

She looked better from far away honestly. I think there is too much concealer and her skin looks tight and dry.

I love her, I like the makeup and I really like the hair.

The eyes are terrible. I really don't think she should wear much black around her eyes, it really ages her.

I agree...too much eye liner, and more color on her lips would have been nice.
