Love It or Hate It? Emma Watson's New Crop

While her Harry Potter character, Hermione Granger, might wear a big, curly 'do, Emma Watson's day-to-day style is a bit more sleek and refined. And now, Emma has a brand-new chic pixie.

"The stylist [Rodney Cutler of NYC's Cutler Salon] just grabbed the back of my hair and took a whole ponytail of hair out," the starlet told EW.com. Emma even took to her Facebook page to proclaim her excitement. "Feels incredible. I love it. I've wanted to do this for years and years; it's the most liberating thing ever," she wrote on her wall. What do you think of Emma's new Mia Farrow-esque look? Do you love it, or are you not feeling it?

I love it!! I can't imagine what it must be like to have to have the SAME haircut for your entire adolescence. I would probably do this too.... just to break from the same thing.

What's wrong with boyish though? Why does she *have to* be feminine? (well, conform to someone's idea of femininity...?)

It'll take some getting used to, but I think she looks beautiful.

I don't really like it, she looks boyish.I don't know her face isn't very feminine, the bone structure, her lips all see more boyish without the long hair.

I think it would look better a bit darker, though.

I think it's stunning on her. She looks so much like Mia Farrow in it! But, as a girl with a pixie cut myself, I am biased. I love short hair that shows off the face :)

very chic. and like others have said, not many can pull this look off...But she sure can! it looks very Mia farrow-Rosemary's Baby/Jean Seberg-À bout de souffle

I couldn't pull it off, but I think she looks lovely. I am growing my hair for Locks of Love after a challenge from my daughter, but I don't think I could go that short. Anyway, Ms. Watson is a beautiful lady.

Absolutely gorgeous, beautiful face, big eyes-the lower lashes emphasized. I hope she makes a Rosemary's Baby remake!

She looks extremely cute in this cut.

Oh, I SO want to like it (I looove pixies) but it just seems off somehow. Maybe I would like it better just a tiny bit longer. Anyway, good on her for taking the leap!

Brave girl. I wish I could chop off my hair. She has the face to pull it off.

She looks lovely. Her eyes look more inviting now. To be honest I don't think I ever noticed her eyes until now

Initially, I hated it. But after seeing more pictures of it, it grew on me. Her style is feminine (and beautiful!) enough to pull it off. I totally agree with her that cutting your hair short is very liberating. Though I wasn't brave enough to rock a pixie cut like hers, I got 12 inches of hair cut off into a short bob last summer. Go Emma!
