We're accustomed to dramatic beauty looks on the Prada catwalk, and this year the models at Prada were an army of color that was akin to fashion-forward war paint. Brows were blotted out to make room for the colorful eye makeup. The troupe wore blue-gray and orange shadow that was smudged far across lids.
And for an even more dramatic feat, colorist Josh Wood was backstage creating custom colors for every single model in the show. "It's the first time it has ever been done," he told Vogue UK. "There were no hair pieces; every single girl had her hair colored specially for the show." The freshly colored hair was styled straight with a dramatic swooped bang, and some models wore feathered headwear and accessories. The nails were nice and neat, so there was nothing to clash with the beautiful colors.
