Pubic Hair Dye

Would You Dye Your Hair Blue? (No, Not The Hair on Your Head.)

When Lily Allen dyed her hair pink, it was certainly a style statement. But what about making a more, well, private one? Betty Beauty is a line of pubic hair dye; it's available in natural colors such as black and auburn as well as this bright shade of blue. It's being marketed with a bridal angle — you know, the "something blue" — and it comes with dove and heart stencils. Personally, I wouldn't want to feel like Sexy Grover, but maybe I'm a pube prude? Would you use this product, or is it a no-go?

I think this is an excellent idea. I heard about betty beauty on the tv show the Doctors and they said it was completely safe to dye down there because they use natural and gentle ingredients like chamomile. So its not like harsh chemicals. They also said how its great to cover grays when you go gray down there....and yes it happens!

My skin is so sensitive I'd be afraid to try anything chemical in that particular locality.

Wow.. just wow. I personally can't shave/wax/remove the hairs "down there" as a matter of comfort, so I'd be all for this. Now if I just knew where to pick up a box. My boyfriend has always had a thing for blue hair, but I'd never dye my head-hair blue because my parents would probably throw a fit, my baby wouldn't recognize me, and I'd be asked to do away with it at work. But in a place where only he and I see.... that's a different story.

I would totally dye down there and plan on doing it :) Why not? I think it would be fun for me and my man!

I remember when my friend's dad told me about this a few years back (gross I know...he has no boundaries haha), and I was like, what? I'd rather have not too much hair to dye down there anyway, and having it be your 'something blue'...ehh, don't like that idea at al!!

hahaha. This product is hilarious. If you had blue hair and someone was cliched enough to ask "Does the carpet match the drapes?", you could say "Why, yes it does" and leave them floored. ;)

Ack, I can't imagine having enough pubic hair to dye. I'm not a fan of body hair, especially not pubic hair. Perhaps a racing stripe or landing strip is do-able, but not enough to stencil dye into, hahaha.

Blue pubic hairs would not be sexy!!

I guess its okay with me because I spent the entire time reading these just giggling and wondering what colour I would choose. Purple. Would I do it? I doubt it, you are talking to someone afraid of waxing. I am the "buy the tube of stinky hair-dissolving cream" person, for the things I won't pluck, or shave. Nobody that I don't know intimately, is putting anything that has to be ripped off me, anywhere near those bits! ...which is pretty goofy considering I never thought twice about tattoos. But if I did.. definitely purple!! :D

Blue? No. Hot pink? Hell yes. "It is an interesting cultural phenomenon that some women find coloring their pubic hair perverse...yet find pouring hot wax on and subsequently ripping said hair out a wholesome activity." My thoughts exactly. AND you made me laugh. Thanks ;)
