Rachel Zoe Fall 2012: Backstage Beauty Hair and Makeup

Go Bananas Over Rachel Zoe's Rock and Roll Look For Fall

Backstage at Rachel Zoe's Fall 2012 show, models sported a cool, downtown vibe with messy and sexy hair. Makeup was inspired by Kate Moss, Marianne Faithfull, and a little Mick Jagger — a high-drama look that begs to be seen on stage as well as the runway. Rachel herself was wearing one element of the look just days before the show. Watch now to see what made Rachel hand-select a key part of her collection's beauty look.

Hey, everyone. It's Annie with your Bella Beauty Be straight from New York Fashion Week. We're here at Rachel Zoe and this rock 'n roll look. Well, it's bananas. It's rock 'n roll at Rachel Zoe. Think of cool girls. Think of downtown looks. If you were the band, this is the hairstyle you'd wear. It's got a cool braid on the side, a lot of movement, a little messy, and it's also very sexy. The look at Rachel Zoe is rock 'n roll. Such a long time we didn't see straight there, so back to straight there. There's a lot of drama going on with this makeup look. Think of winged liner and not one but two sets of lashes plus mascara. A mix between sort of if Mick Jagger was a woman and Marianne Faithful and Kate Moss with that very 60- 70's era with a modern contemporary feel. It makes everyone look sexy and beautiful. It just gives that feline sense to the shape to the eye and makes it look very kinda your eyes look kinda much more hypnotic. Things are getting naked on the nail front with a manicure with colors that Rachel is actually wearing herself just a few days before the show. Well, here at Rachel Zoe it's definitely all about the nude nails. Whatever Rachel Zoe does, that's the trend, and this rocker beauty look is no exception. Keep watching BellaSugar TV and we're going to bring you all the best from New York Fashion Week.
