Review of Anastasia Beverly Hills Tweezers

Reader Review of the Day: Anastasia Beverly Hills Tweezers

Sometimes readers don't agree with what I think, and that's why our Reader Reviews section is so invaluable. Take Sabisf, for instance. While I loved Anastasia Beverly Hills Tweezers ($28), she wasn't as pleased. Here's what she had to say:

When I first got these they worked great, but quickly lost their sharpness. After a few months they did not work at all. At the price they should last a lot longer. I went back to Tweezerman and I'm very happy. Anastasia has some other nice products, though.

Have you disagreed with some of my Product Reviews or Doing Drugstore opinions? Here's the perfect opportunity to tell us why. Just head to the Product Reviews website and give us the scoop.

I have superfine eyebrows and I always struggle with tweezers being able to "grip" the hair to be plucked. Tweezerman is the only thing that works for me.

I agree, I won a pair of these Anastaisa tweezers and tried them a few times. they just didn't grab on to the hair well enough and I don't care for the slanted tip. I just preferred my pointy Tweezerman tweezers.

I bought these two years ago and they're still sharp as a tack. You have to clean them every so often with rubbing alcohol, like any other pair of tweezers. Not to mention, swipe the edges on a bit of sandpaper if you find yours are dull and they'll be good as new. I swear by these; they've never let me down.

i HATE slanted tweezers. they cut hairs and dont pluck. maybe i dont understand their use. Sabisf says they lost their sharpness, so are some tweezers supposed to cut hairs? i usually use small nail scissors for that. i recently lost my favorite pair of tweezers, they were revlon square tip :( the only tweezers that actually plucked anything for me at all
