Review of Eucerin Facial Lotion

Reader Review of the Day: Eucerin Facial Lotion

Finding a moisturizer that works for your skin type can be tricky, and nobody wants to end up with a sprinkling of acne as a result. When reader Malu purchased the reasonably priced Eucerin Facial Lotion ($8.50), she wasn't disappointed. Here's what she had to say:

"I've been looking for a long time the perfect moisturizer that will moisturize well without being greasy; offer sun protection but won't smell like sunscreen; and will not break my wallet. This is the one! Also, it doesn't cause breakouts. What more can you ask for?"

it smells "funny" cause it doesn't use perfume, ladies ;) good for the sensitive skin.

I use to use this but for some reason when my derm switched my acne meds to something else I kept getting a crazy weird reaction to this moisturizer. I love the spf30 but I think I like the spf 15 one more... it felt lighter and didn't have the sunscreen residue afterward. my mom gave me a sample of this mary kay time wise moisturizer and its super gentle on my skin. I use to use oil of olay it was the BEST moisturizer BUT they do animal testing... hence the reason I switched to Eucerin.

My mom's been using the Eucerin brand skincare for years and years--she swears by it.

I've found something very similar, its Greenleaf Natural daily facial moisturizer. I think its only available in Adelaide though. :(

I also purchased this one, and hated it! It's greasy, caused me to break out and smells funny.

I purchased this moisturizer a while back because of the SPF 30 and it was in my price range _ I found it too greasy and it broke me out. I tried the Purpose (Redness Reducing Moisturizer) SPF 30 for a great price from Target and love it!!! Even though I have no redness I figured why not give it a try. It is not greasy and gives me the protection that I need as well as moisture - Give it a try :) I am a happy user!

I purchased this a couple months ago and was not happy with it. I felt just the opposite of what the review said because I felt it smelled terrible and it did cause me to break out. I liked that it contained titanium dioxide and zinc oxide (not chemical sunscreens for sensitive skin), however, it also contained chemical sunscreens as well which is why I broke out. The only moisturizer I've found that works with my sensitive, acne prone skin is Dermalogica Super Sensitive Faceblock Spf 30. But that is why there are so many different options out there when it comes to moisturizers-we all have different skin and opinions!

I stray sometimes, but I always come back to this for my daytime moisturizer. SPF 15 is just NOT enough for me.

I've had this before and I remember loving it but I can't find it even in my well- stocked local CVS. :(

I've been using this face lotion for several years and love it. It wears well under makeup and definitely keeps my fair skin from getting sun burned. It's not the cheapest moisturizer but compared to Lancome, Murad, Kinerase, etc. it's a steal!

ALl Eucerin products are amazing. 1. They're German. 2. Sold only in pharmacies. 3. not cheap.
