Review of L'Oreal Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser

Beauty Review: L'Oréal Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser

Here's an excerpt from OnSugar blog Kiss and Tell:

When it comes to new and innovative products, I somehow always get sucked into trying them. It's not that I'm not totally satisfied with my current skincare system, but trying a new product for me is like opening up a new toy on Christmas morning; I just get excited. Maybe that's what makes me a beauty addict? Anywho. . . L'Oréal Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser ($7) is a foaming cleanser that comes with an added bonus: a scrublet which fits right in the bottle. The oil-free cleanser is a high-foaming gel, which L'Oréal claims unclogs pores as it removes oil, dirt, and makeup. The cleanser contains notes of naranji, orange flower, and mint, which feels really refreshing on the skin. (For the pros and cons, just read more.)

Pros: I really liked the cleanser at first; the mint felt really nice in the morning when you need that wake-up boost, and it did a pretty good job of removing all of my makeup — even better than my regular cleanser. The scrublet, a small silicone-feeling scrubber that gently cleanses the skin, was a great add-on and left my skin feeling smooth, clean, and looking radiant. I loved that the scrublet fit in the hole in the bottle, rather than having to leave it on the bathroom sink or misplacing it who knows where.

Cons: As much as I really wanted to love this cleanser, after a few uses I noticed my normally oily skin starting to feel dry and tight (I suspect the mint is the culprit). Verdict: While I wasn't too big on the cleanser, in the end, I'll probably still use it once in a while. But the scrublet is definitely here to stay, and I've found it works great with my regular cleanser and really helps clear away any makeup or residue.

I bought the one for sensitive skin and I've had no issues with drying (I think because it's soap-free and has no mint?) I love how smooth my skin feels after I use it. I think they should sell the scrublet by itself too though.

I agree with the dryness, after I use it my skin feels tight and it leaves a sticky residue.

Sounds like this would be a better product for me in the summer when the oil realy goes into overdrive.

I'm with agreeing with all of you guys! I bought this cleanser and I had the same effect with dryness. My face felt kinda gross from all the dryness even when I put tons of moisturer on it. After a few hours, I had to continue to put moisturer on. I love the little scruber that it comes with. I learned my lesson, and will only use this cleanser, like 2 times a week so it doesn't dry out my face. hahah, they just need to sell those little scrubers separately, I think that would be really successful :D

so agree!i love the scrublet, in fact is my new bff, however the cleanser is so drying, and darn i thought it would be a perfect alternative to my clinique cleanse. After using it for a couple of weeks i was so flaky and dry in some places, so now i dont cleanse with it as much and moisturize a lot, so its fine, but if you get this, get the cream senstive one instead

I have the same problem with the drying issue and I have skin that is normally a grease slick within 20-30 minutes of washing! I love the scrubbie thing and have ended up sticking it to the tile walls of my shower since the back of it (the handle part) works great as a suction cup. LOL! :-)

It seems every review is the same. People absolutely love the scrubber thing, but dislike the cleanser.

I purchased the "deep cream cleanser" about 2 months ago and had the same drying issue. It was so bad that my normally oily t-zone started to actually flake. I kept the scrubber but tossed the cleanser and went back to Fresh Soy Cleanser. After two weeks my skin was back to normal.
