Sometimes it can be a gamble to mix warm and cool makeup shades, but at last night's Zookeeper premiere, Rosario Dawson was the shining example of how to do it right. To add balance to her glamorous gown, Rosario chose to go with a pretty, radiant look featuring a soft palette of warm bronze eye makeup and salmon cheeks paired with cool-toned pink lips. Stiles used EcoTools' bamboo foundation brush to apply Armani's Liquid Silk foundation in #7 onto Rosario's complexion.
Illamasqua's cream blush in Rude was used on the cheeks to add warmth and a subtle pop of color. Stiles followed using EcoTools' bamboo blush brush to sweep on MAC's Matte Bronze bronzer as a contour. "It [the contouring] should just look like a little hollowing of the cheekbones, and should be almost undetectable," explained Stiles.
Next, Stiles used the flat, medium-sized rounded brush from EcoTools' six-piece eye brush set to apply the bronze shade from Dior's 5-Colour eye shadow palette in Earth Reflection onto Rosario's lids, up toward the brows; the crease brush was used to add depth in the crease of the eye. To finish, Stiles applied the bronze and deep brown shades from the palette under the lower lash line, softly smoking it out. An application of black liner and black mascara tied it all together.
Nars lip gloss in Chihuahua gave a cool pink tone to Rosario's lips. "It looked easy and pretty and just added a bit of lightness to the look," Stiles said.
