The SAG Nominees Party the Night Away in Colorful Makeup Looks

Jan 18 2014 - 8:53am

The SAG Awards are going down tonight, but we got a preview of the beauty looks at the preparties last night. Entertainment Weekly hosted an event that brought out top nominees like Kerry Washington and Lupita Nyong'o. Surprisingly, the red carpet was packed with bright colors including red, blue, and orange (which is fast becoming this award season's top shade [1]). See all the looks, and keep checking back tonight for our live SAG Awards beauty coverage.

Lupita Nyong'o

At the Entertainment Weekly party celebrating the SAG nominees, Lupita Nyong'o dressed up her short Afro with a diamond and velvet headpiece. She also brightened up her red carpet look with an orange lipstick.

Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Milano [2] pulled the glossy, salmon shade of her lipstick from her earrings and the floral print in her dress for the Entertainment Weekly preparty.

Jenna Ushkowitz

The side ponytail was the perfect choice for Jenna Ushkowitz at the EW party because it made her halter neckline the spotlight on the red carpet.

Michelle Dockery

Michelle Dockery kept her beauty look simple for the EW preparty with neutral makeup and her bob styled straight. Perhaps she's saving her best looks for the SAG red carpet.

Jessica Szohr

Red lipstick and black eyeliner were the highlight of Jessica Szohr [3]'s makeup on the Entertainment Weekly red carpet.

Kerry Washington

A glowing Kerry Washington attended the EW party wearing shimmer, blue eye shadow, and her hair in soft curls.

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt [4] was flushed with pink tones at the Champagne Taittinger Men in Hollywood luncheon. Her pregnancy is definitely giving her an enviable glow.

Anna Chlumsky

The smudged liner and bronzer combination on Anna Chlumsky gave her Entertainment Weekly party look a certain radiance.

Malin Akerman

The night before the SAG Awards, Malin Akerman attended the ABC TCA press party with a flirty beauty look — loose waves and lots of lashes.
