On her hair:
I'm lucky enough to get to work with Serge Normant, and he and I have the mutual objective of trying to keep my hair as healthy as possible — which is hard given my particular line of work, when they want to just beat it up every day and put heat on it and blow-dry it. And I like to try color and things like that, so it's hard to do. I am not complaining because it's part of what I've chosen to do that I love. I try to take care of it and try not to do anything to it when I'm not working. I try not to color it if I don't have to. . . . I have a lot of brothers and sisters, and my three sisters — none of them are actors — and they have the healthiest, most beautiful hair. [It's] never been touched, dyed, [or] tortured the way I torture mine. And their ponytails are as thick as a horse's.
On her at-home makeup routine:
I am, I confess, very bad at makeup. I don’t wear any in my real life — in my personal life. There’s no time to do it and I’m not good at it. I can cover a zit, and I can put mascara on. I can put the eyeliner inside my eyeball but that’s basically it. Honestly.
