Shave Rash Treatment DIY With Aspirin

Soothe Shaved Legs With This Cheap Medicine Cabinet Trick

Remember that classic doctor's advice of "Take two aspirin and call me in the morning"? We're not doctors, but this is a remedy that should help with the inevitable razor burn that comes with unveiling our legs for the first time in months.

Step One: Start by crushing two aspirin between two sheets of wax paper.

Step Two: Dissolve the aspirin bits in 1/4 cup of distilled water.

Step Three: Add three drops of glycerin to the solution. This emollient acts as a solvent for the aspirin while holding moisture in your skin. Stir the paste until the pills are dissolved.

Step Four: After shaving, apply the mixture to your skin with a cotton ball to avoid shaving bumps and calm any irritation.

aspirin contains salicylic acid, so it's probably there to reduce any inflammation from shaving(ie bumps, irritation from razors)

pinkflake, yes- use it after you've showered and dried off. Let it soak in and don't rinse :)

Great tip! And just a reminder to watch any nicks you might have when going to the gym--nasty stuff out there you don't need to catch! I have this liquid bandaid stuff that I use if I don't want to use the real thing.
