What's Your Signature Summer Makeup Look?

With hot weather setting in for real, savvy women everywhere are changing up their makeup and using their best tips to keep everything in place no matter how sunny and humid it gets. When it comes to braving the heat and looking good, I try to focus on high-impact eyeliner and bright lip stains. What are your classic Summer makeup tricks?

Mostly sunscreen and a powder. My face is just too darn oily to attempt a fully beat face (beat face = full on makeup).

If I'm hanging out in the sun, I'll just use smashbox sheer focus tinted moisturizer( in luminous) with SPF, some eyeliner, and pink lipgloss. If I'm staying indoors and want some coverage/color I'll use Everyday Minerals base powder (in Sandy Medium) then sweep some BareMinerals "warmth" all over face color on my cheeks. Fortunately my normal skin tone gets pretty tanned in the summer months so I haven't been finding the need to do the latter as much. I've been lazy about eyeshadow lately but I found a purple Sephora eyeshadow (in armelle) that makes my eyes pop and is great for a summery look.

Bold matte lips, either an orange-red one (like MAC lipstick in So Chaud) or a bright pink. I don't wear powder at all in the summer, just sunscreen on my face. Then just curl my lashes.

Mineral powder foundation all the way! Agreed with RoxPink about other foundation formulas just being too heavy in the warmer months. After that, usually just mascara, tinted eyebrow gel, blush and lip tint. Keepin' it simple and light!

Tinted Moisturize with SPF!!! Its too hot and humid here in the summer to wear full or even medium coverage foundation

I go easy on the powder and undereye concealer so it doesn't cake or come off when I wear sunglasses. There's nothing worse than those tell-tale bluish ovals under the eyes. Mascara and gloss are my go-tos...and, of course, lots of sunscreen! Hey, Bella - do you know if it's okay to dab a bit of antiperspirant on my hairline or above my upper lip? I always wonder if that would cause weird tan lines, but I can't stand the extra 'glow' there!
