Take cover: Try wearing a hat or loose, flowy long sleeves to minimize sun exposure when you're outside.
Bring on the zinc: Zinc-based sunscreens reflect UV rays, while lessening free-radical damage.
It's all about the vitamins: Using skin care products high in antioxidants (such as vitamin A, C, and E) will protect your skin and help correct free-radical damage. Taking vitamins will also do wonders for your skin — try a multivitamin booster with antioxidants such as ALA.

Fatten up: Taking in more essential fatty acids, such as fish oils in cod and salmon, chia, flax seeds, and walnuts, will help to toughen your skin's outer layer and decrease dryness, redness, and sensitivity.
Stay hydrated: No matter what time of year, our bodies lose water throughout the day, but in the sweaty Summer months, it's even more so. Drinking two to three liters of water a day will help you replenish.
Oil yourself up: Look for daily moisturizers with olive and coconut oil to help your skin repair its acid mantle and reduce the amount of lost moisture.
