For makeup, Carole Colombani used a palette of autumnal colors, comprising of beige, terracotta, and red. Skin was left clean, and the lashes were devoid of mascara. Even the lips were just brushed over with the excess product from the foundation brush . . . no color. The cheeks had a slight dewy contour created by mixing two neutral lipsticks. "Makeup is freedom," she said. "It's really important for women to test and not be afraid of putting eye shadows on your mouth."
