Trend Alert: Bubble Gum Pink Lips

Lately, I've noticed various stars out and about sporting similar shades of pink lips. It's a little bit playful and a little bit retro, but it's sure got snap — just like bubble gum itself. Whether it's a matte finish like Drew Barrymore and Salma Hayek, or it's got some shine à la Rihanna and Lindsay Price, one thing's for sure, this look is hubba hubba — er, bubba.

Maybelline has some great glossy shades for this trend! When I was buying my latest tube I came across a lot of candy pink shades in their wet look and diamonds lipsticks.

Even if you can "pull this off" it doesn't seem a bit flattering, so what's the point?

I'll pass on this one. It seems too teeny-bopper to me.

For a gloss option, try , Max Factor Lipfinity 3D Maxwear Lipcolor in 80's Pink ($9) — http://www.drugstore.com:80/products/prod.asp?pid=159162&catid=98645&cmbProdBrandFilter=48570. I agree it's a tricky color. Everything else has to be down played if you decide to wear this color, and less is more.

Eh kind of too bubble gum for me...tad cheesy. Maybe if it was more muted it could work...

I love pink lips, but I agree that you have to find the right shade for your skintone...it can look bad if you don't.

I think that this trend is a tricky one becuase it does not seem to work for a lot of people, it's hard to find the right shade.

I wish I could find out the exact colors they're wearing as I never seem to get my perfect color.
