Trend Alert: Metallic, Bejeweled Nails

Katy Perry isn't the only celebrity hopping on the sparkly, encrusted nail bandwagon. Beyonce had similarly wild nails with heart-shaped jewels on them last night at the MTV Europe Awards, and Kristen Bell was sporting iridescent foiled nails recently, too. I think this trend is so creative and cool, but what about you? If you want to get the look, try Lippmann Collection's Celebrate polish trio or OPI's Designer Series.

Funny its a "trend" now. My little sis just turned 12 and always has worn metallic silver nail polish.

I love it, and think it's a ton of fun. It definitely helps when you feel a little plain in the winter outerwear. Nothing dresses up my black jackets like some sparkly nails.

I love this. I just bought a chrome set of nail polishes and they're gorgeous and I can't wait to use them.

Lol anonymous. I do have to agree, though, it is very popular with Hispanic women. My grandparents live near a town that is very Puerto Rican and all of the women I see at the grocery store have glitter on their nails, whether it's pink, purple, cobalt blue, gold, it doesn't matter as long as it sparkles.A subtle silvery glitter would be pretty with a basic black dress for a Christmas party, though.

I guess its kinda cutesy..especially for the holidays..as long as its not total overkill. Katys are way too much for my taste, but they work for her.
